I never thought the idea of holding one's head up while riding this thing was any fun... :-)

I can't make out the manufacturer. Who makes it? Where'd ya get it? Looks cool!
I always thought 3 wheeled recumbents would be the way to go.

My Doc doesn't even want me on a bike because of my back, and this feels pretty good, plus it was a good TRADE

You guys are going to have to educate me about Bent bikes, clearly there is a joke that I'm missing..

I'm willing to put a motor on a bar stool, but I enjoy pedalling to much to to that to a bicycle..

Oh wow, you bought a 'bent Byron? Holy cow! You're the last guy I thought I'd see on one. We affectionately call them "potato bikes" up here - as in couch potato - LOL!

Tell you what, those are rockets going down hill. Absolute ROCKETS.

Kinda watch yourself in traffic. You very, very low. Geeky as it looks, a flag is a great idea. For you - maybe flourescent pirate flag!

cool Byron. Interested in how it rides. I imagine it is quite unresponsive up hills or in the twisties, but it is prob great at top speed potential, especially if you get a body.

Just a pop reference to a "alternate lifestyle" = Bent or short for recumbent.

A choice of a Bent or not riding at all, I chose to keep pedaling instead of just sitting. I did take my 20" BMX out for a quick ride the other day though. .
You are correct on the flag as I almost got run over today, just a few houses away, but he did manage to run my phone over (yes, I was on the correct side of the street, some guy looking for a house # I guess) and a Pirate flag would ROCK!!

Remember, I'm a "Bike" guy, own multiple road bikes, MTBs, a 49 Cycle Truck and a bunch of BMX bikes,

from the 70s to current, 16" to 26" and now, an 2nd ""Bent"
I already have a Bike E. I love to ride my bicycles, can't help it..

I don't dig the idea, but my back might put me on a bent someday. C'est la vie.

Byron, in addition to a flag (or two), get a biga$$ freon horn... and use it pre-emptively and frequently... be an absolute azzho1e about it.

And wear bright-colored clothing.

And a helmet.

Look into fairings (bodies) for that. A fully faired (bodied) recumbent is called a velomobile. I thought about getting one for commuting in the rain and cold of winter.
