You think I'm hot under the collar today?
Hot under everything. It's 90 degrees in the house, the walls measure about 95-96.
Outside it hit 109* 3 hours ago and stayed there for 2 hours. Tied a record set in 1963. Inside the house feels cool. 85 here in my office with A/C going as hard as it can. |

High of 60 degrees here today with rain. Down into the 30's this weekend! Just finished putting up almost 14 face cords of fire wood. Getting ready for the cold here!

They just finished their "carjacking" so I just took off. If you want to come on set sometime when we're on location let me know. We'll be in Burbank on the same show "No Ordinary Family" tomorrow, but dialogue only, no action.

High 80s in Dana Point today, I turned the air on in the house for 15 min. just to see if it still worked. There went part of my unemployment check. Second day this summer-oh yeah, summers over-that it got to 80 here.

Today's weather was sunny and mid 70's. Just got back from a drive in a P car and it was 58. Should drop another 10 or so overnight.
It's odd that Oklahoma is so much cooler than the California coast. JR |

I think, based on weather, the 2 places I'd like most to live are San Francisco and the south of France. Both have small temperature ranges (in fact, I believe SF has the smallest average range of any major city in the world) and have very pleasant climates all year round. But then, France *does* have topless beaches

So, out of curiosity, anyone know how hot it really has to be in order to fry an egg on a sidewalk?

Triple digits here today, dark before I got home, so can't say how the garden fared. I was actually thinking about Hugh when I heard it was going to be scorchin' hot there, good day to be out of town, even in Detroit. Tough break, you do have a pool, so it ain't that tough. Drink lots of water, pee should not look too yellow.
