Rob Dickinson's "Singer 911" on CarCast

"Rob Dickinson brings in his creation of the ultimate 911. The Singer 911 Porsche grew out of a desire to have the vintage air cooled 911 mystique with the modern treatment in technology. At the car’s core is carbon fiber, meticulous styling, an engine that sings along at over 8,000 RPM which make this package about as good as you can get. Nothing left to chance with the styling, handling or engine package in this car. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did here at CarCast!"

Rob is a very genuine guy. He knows cars and is clearly passionate about his creation. Rightfully so, it's beautiful.
Thanks for posting the link. Anything on the Singer 911 is worth the time to watch.

Very cool although the engine seems a bit muted with that muffler.

The sidekick was wearing a Pelican t-shirt. I wonder wear he got that?

This car (and the prototype) have received the most press on Pelican, more than any new Porsche! It is like Rob says ' just what I would have invented. Tons of mental changes went into this car prior to any wrench touched it. Outstanding.

Great car indeed. I think it has a bigger following here than any new Porsche product because we can all relate to the build from hands on experience on these cars and from reading other people's amazing build threads over the years. What I really like about the car is that they did not completely strip it - it still has electric seats and an a/c and they picked some modern features off the 993.

There will always be guys that will write a check for something like that. If it were me, I would have to at least build what I could on the car.

This is the first time I have seen a CarCast video, or heard about them. I hope they are hobbyists? The camera was terrible (i.e. showing the outside of the door while they go crazy about the door panel and locks standing on the other side) and some of the stuff Adam says is certainly more at home after a few beers in your buddies garage than broadcast material on the interwebs

Thanks for sharing!

There are beautiful cars, fast cars, and cars built "outside-the-box" on this site.

But this car accomplishes all three. It may actually be the perfect machine.

While I understand that there are many options on that car, any idea what price range is for the package? Just curious and no, I won't be buying one but it is very nice.
