Daddy, is that Snipers car??

I had to run up to the shop today, to pick up a couple of things, I took my 5 year old with me. We pulled up , and somebody must have dropped off a 928 for service over the weekend.
Before I even noticed the car , he asks me, " Daddy , is that Snipers car?". I don't even know how he would know this. I don't often talk about Pelican .
Do you guys remember that "A pelican chat" thread last year, you know the one with the cartoons ? He was quite fascinated by that little cartoon. " But I've got a 928".
I am pretty impressed, he can name a 911, 911 turbo, 928,917, boxster and 944 at a glance. I am still working on the long hood/short hood thing.
He is good with Porsche, but thinks anything with a Ford emblem is a Mustang.
Please dont turn this into a Sniper love/ hate thread, just thought that was kind of funny.

When my daughter was about the same age, we were driving down the freeway and she saw two Hispanics in a pickup truck and said "Gardeners" they had nothing in the bed of the truck.

My Daughters have strict instructions to stay away any 928's and long haired guys and my Son has the same instructions to stay away from 928's and short haired guys wearing red speedo's!

Actually I was in Philly last week and met with Sniper and some other PP friends. Car looked great and sounded better.

Firehouse where its kept hidden until needed is something I would love to have!

When my older son was about 5 or six we were at a stop light and he started pointing exitedly at the SUV in front of us. He said "Look dad! African People!" I looked at the people in front of me wondering first how to explain race to a five year old and then why he was calling a yuppie driving a white Land Cruiser African.

At that time he was in to African nature programs and we encouraged it. The people in all the shows drove white Land Cruisers into the bush. That was the only time he saw Land Cruisers and every show had Land Cruisers in it. Therefore, light colored Land Cruiser equaled African people. He hadn't even noticed the difference between white and black people. Once I understood, I assured him that the people in front of us must indeed be African explorers back home from Safari and he was quite impressed.

I actually survived a ride in that loud, angry 928. It is every bit as fast as advertised.

Bill is letting me do some work on my car at the firehouse, I will have to take some pics when I am there.

I just asked my son for some commentary on that photo above, and He is clearly upset , and states " Daddy, Snipers car fell apart!"

Hugh where is that car at?

Those wheels would go nice on a 944 track car.
