Does anybody know about Chevy Equinox

230k on the A4 so almost time for a new ride. I need all wheel drive and like the looks and gas mileage. Also considering the Saturn version Vue
Comments?

We have a 06 Torrent V6 which is the same re-badged car. About the only bad is a cheap sunroof and a wide turning circle.
No soul, but no problems either.

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

I occassionally borrow my friend's. It's a competent vehicle -- handles well, reasonable speed, lots of useful space inside. My only dislike is the light gray interior.

We bought a 2010 about 6 months ago. Special ordered it with exactly the ops we wanted.....basically ALL options minus the sunroof. Got the top of line LTZ. So far, 6000 miles and absolutely no squeaks, rattles or problems. Actually very impressed with the quality, and even more impressed with the mpg. We got the silver with black/brown leather interior. Tight, sporty ride but still smooth and quiet. I'm 6-4 and if I slide the drivers seat all the way back, I can't reach the steering wheel. Lots of room for a "small" suv. Rear seat also slides fore and aft.
Lots of folks enjoy bad-mouthing GM and maybe deservedly so for their crappy quality past. But the new nox is very nice.......of course a year or two from now, I might write a different review.

Engine is made in China. Not that that's necessarily bad....

I got the Terrain (GMC cousin of the Equinox) and we're very-very happy, this is the Cadillac engine so it is nice... The new engine has direct fuel injection so it gives likes 400 miles. The truck is heavy and won't win any awards but GM has truly upped their offering, like the sound system is near professional grade and bluetooth and rear view camera (in all trims), flawless connection to ipod, etc..

Take if for a drive and you'll be surprised, GM has had to increase their output twice as it is a best seller..
