We have some friends in Colorado. Visited their place about a year ago. Both are late 50's. The wife is absolutely beautiful. One of those women who are born beautiful, remain beautiful all their life and even age with stunning grace.

She has been on the cover of several magazines (not nudes, just sexy pics). She's graced the cover of a particular magazine with accompanying centerfold three times, remarkably, in her 20's, 30's and her 40's. Yeah, she's that beautiful. All the covers and centerfolds are displayed at their home.

Steve was eyeballing one of the centerfolds with great interest. I guess I should qualify that as my husband is a great admirer of a the female form. He had this really odd look on his face. Later, when we got back to our hotel, I asked him about it and he told me the answer....

"I think I wacked off to that picture when I was in high school." I was absolutely horrified. THIS IS OUR FRIEND!!!! :eek:

IIRC,I think its in the $10K range for a non-centerfold spread (pun intended) for PB...my former law firm handled some of the release prep work when PB did a shoot in Missississpi. $30K for centerfold maybe. Something like $2K for a pic or two in a pictoral involving numerous women (i.e., "Girls of the SEC"). Most are thinkung it is a stepping stone to be discovered as an aspiring actress/model/whatever.

Could be worse...one of my brother's stepdtrs went to CA a few years back at 19 and is now a hardcore porn star (stage name Madelynn Marie). She has quite a BODY OF WORK (ANOTHER PUN;)). Interestingly her Mom is very proud of this girls accomplishments. And I thought my estranged spouse is nucking futs. :rolleyes:

Ya, not on my watch! I have already instructed our son to kill-on-site any one who harms his lil sis in a 'bad way' as well as being a strong arm to her if she ever strays from a moral path! Then again, that is it is because she is my daughter - far more special than the ordinary gutter snipe!!!

For those of you who want to know, here is Miss Madelynn Marie...I am glad I am not the proud Dad but I would pay $100 to treat her like a barn animal...

It would certainly be weird hearing people say, "wow, have you seen this months centerfold!" knowing its your daughter they're talking about.

When I stay at my girlfriends I stay in her room with her, have been doing that since ~17 or 18 her parents are divorced and she lives with her mom and her dad's in Az..... if she lived with her father things would be a different story haha

Its "funny" how many people feel its OK to lust after or have a one night stand with someone else's little girl but would be upset if someone wants to do likewise to their daughter.

I really don't think that's the case here. But, then again, I don't think many consider some porn star to be someone else's little girl.

This is completely unacceptable! Finding out either my son or daughter is gay (not that there is anything wrong with it) when they grow up is not acceptable. They will be told that but if it actually happens it isn't the end of the world. They weren't raised that way. Better to have them pose or be gay than be dead or with cancer or some other terminal disease.

My niece used to be a topless dancer...I stopped going to tittie bars because I didn't want to run into her in one....Not my choice of professions, but she made awesome money, and her husband didn't mind...hell, he even got her store bought hooters and capped her teeth so she could make more money. Saw her income tax forms once....made over 100K.

But for the original question...I'd lock my daughter in the basement until she came to her senses.

Yeah, that's all cute and fatherly, but the fact is, you hope that you raised them to aspire to something greater. That's all you can do.
If either of my daughters ended up in Playboy, I'd have them autograph the picture.

You guys closed mindedness and controlling mentalities will drive your daughters towards things like this... Sorry but thats the way I see it. I know several girls whose parents were very protective and very controlling. Those girls went WILD the first chance they got. I know several kids that were raised similarly to me as well. We were all taught what was right and wrong. But also weren't sheltered from it. We haven't gone near as wild...
