Options:
1. Time. 70% of people get better within a year. 2. Steroid injection. 70% of these people also get better within a year. Might only offer temporary relief, though. 3. PRP injection, though it might be $1K. And its long-term effectiveness is uncertain. 4. Surgery. Maybe 50-80% of people get better. Rarely do people get worse. 5. Live with it.

+1 on the steroid injection. And I'm a big believer in Aleve, not Advil.
Also, you need to look at how you use the arm and reduce/eliminate those actions that continue to cause pain (i.e. - don't reach for the gallon of milk with that hand, etc.).

I use to get these all the time but on the inner elbow "golfers elbow" I received 2-3 steriod injections during periods of extreme tenderness. If done right, (and it HURTS when getting it) the pain goes away instantly. Combine this with rest and NSAID (Motrin) and ice and you should be pain free quickly. You will have to avoid the motions that are causing the problem during the period also.

Arms at your side, make a lose fist with your thumb on top of you index finger, your thumb should be in a straight line with your arm and your thumb will be pointing down, move your wrist so your that the top of your thumb nail is pointing to the ground, you will feel it pull on your forearm, helps line up the Carpel tunnel nerve, try and sleep with your arms straight instead of bent cause that also helps with the Carpel nerve. hope it helps, thats what they told me to do.

I found relieve from those small compression bands that goes on just below your elbow.
Switching hands may help also.

It's been six months since I got a case of tennis elbow, and it's just now starting to feel normal again. No therapy or drugs, I just let it heal on it's own...
