Jail break (or 'root' for android) and install a VOIP app. My iPhone had Skype and it was awesome.

After almost a year of service I can say that ATT is not as bad as Sprint for coverage but is still miles away from Verizon. 3 years with Verizon (business account) and lots of Domestic travel and NOT A SINGLE dropped call. ATT...daily.

the defender for the iphone4 is not waterproof. it's a very nice case, but not waterproof.

I have an otterbox but won't use it any more. The phone flipped out of the belt holster one to many times.
