Those are awesome, saw the write up in hot rod. would love to own a 78 flaming chicken with t-tops just for the cheesyness. Smokey and the Bandit was hot when I was about 10 yrs old. really wanted the truck, though, lol.

Nice car, too bad Burt can't look that good.

He's probably blowing his nose through his navel these days.

WATCH THE COLOR OF THE TIRES ON THE ROLLERS! they're grey ish at the start, and by the time the run is done they're BLACK all the way across. Near the start of the dyno run you can see the center start to turn black and it propagates out-wards.

it probably could, because it doesn't have a blue oval on it, but the added wind resistance from the mullet blowing out of the t-tops would slow it back down

I consider this a "resto-rod" where you keep the body of the older vehicle but upgrade everything underneath.

Black, lowered fast car with big azzd billet wheels and tuned suspension?

Count me in baby!!!

Probably similar in $$$ as well. A shame we couldn't see the dyno results.

The 77 Trans Am was my favorit car for years, and the bandit edition tops that!

The absence of a blue oval doesn't necesarily mean it's slower, it just means it'll make it there and back under it's own power
