Happy and safe Thanksgiving everyone.

As I get ready to start preparing the turkey for tomorrow I just wanted to let you all know I really enjoy my time on Pelican Parts. I have argued with some and agreed with most. I have asked for, received and given advice. I have asked for and given technical help. I have laughed my a$$ off and I have cried. I received support earlier this year when my father passed away. I have offered encouragement and sympathy. I learn something new every day from all of you. I even get parts! For these things I am truly thankful.
Some of us will spend this thanksgiving without a family member for the first time this year, whether they were a long time family pet or other loved one. Others have received the gift of hope for many more years of life.
Thank you fellow Pelicans and have a wonderful, safe Thanksgiving.
Regards,
Sandy

Each and every day is a gift from God. Thanksgiving is a proper time to recognize this and give thanks for what is, what was, and what may be.

I'm also grateful to all of you to who make OT worth coming back to. And here's to Wayne the founder of this medium.

God bless you all

Well said Crusty. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving day as well.
I'll be starting mine out tomorrow morning bright and early doing the Turkey Trot in down town San Jose. I get to find out how out of shape I am. Its for a good cause though. Everyone is encouraged to bring at least 4 none perishable food items to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank. They are expecting over 15,000 participants this year.

The same to all of you. We're going to a friends house down the street tomorrow, so no driving.

Tonight, I'm going to my ex BILs place a few miles away to drink more than one. My wife is driving me over, and I'll take a cab back. About $10 with tip and well worth it.

Hope everyone has a happy, healthy Ts'giving!

We'll be going to our son's in-laws to see our new grandaughter who is just 2 1/2 weeks old. First grandchild for all of us and first child for our son and DIL, so yes, it will be special. Nice thing is that we all get along as family.
