Air Show exhibits flying over today

We've had a few of our army choppers flying over today...can't wait for some of the other 'stuff' that will fly out of the air base East of us on their way to the international air show...

The kids have been racing outside every time they hear something in the air

.

I told them weeks ago we're going to the air show this year no matter what as in previous years the date has always clashed with other things. This year I will see to it that nothing clashes

.

So next weekend we're off to this:

Lisa, keep your eyes open for the blue turboprop single T-6B Texan. The pilot is a buddy and co-worker of mine. He's representing our employer, so I hope he doesn't screw it up!

I am soooooo excited about finally being able to get to this event. I am far worse than the kids and Mike...they want to go; but I reeeaaaaaalllllly want to go

It is a lousy drive for us. It will be gridlock for miles there and miles back. It will be a huge day and everyone will be grumpy coming home due to exhaustion...

and you know what???

I DON'T CARE cos I'm going to the airshow!!!

And to top it off; we're going to the 60 Years of Porsche in Australia Expo on Saturday in town too. Big weekend...very tired kiddies they will be on the Monday.

thinking of going off on a bender in April, looking to stock up on supplies now.

if there are a lot of WWII planes, please take tons of pics. I'm doing more and more un-PC stuff for designs these days. One of many in the works for fall...

Hoping the weather will be OK; forecast not looking great (showers and cool).

Nevermind - we'll have 3 cameras between 4 of us and the kids are big into taking pics so I am planning for lots of photos.

What size are you running to now in boys' stuff? I fear Billy has outgrown your range and he'll be very upset knowing what you're up to...

running to size 12 boys, pretty much a men's small. trying to figure out how to get into men's, especially with the leather motorcycle jackets I'm doing now.

anything WWII, fighter jet and helicopter would be much appreciated.

Well if I can get close enough I'll be all over that stuff (remember I am the one who wanted to be an airforce aeronautical enginer in the hope they would let me fly; I was too early...they changed their policies about women doing this stuff a few years too late for me).

I'll also see if I can get some pics of some of the merchandise available for you as well if you like?
