Paul is harmless IMO. I click on his posts. It will be 'a chick and cue' on occasion, but 99% green Mustangs. Big deal. He isn't rude, he doesn't insult people. Live and let live.

I only wish he was the biggest issue on this forum....

porsche4life 10-27-2010 09:10 AM

I'd say you've missed more than a few of his posts...

I like Paul's posts

No doubt he has ruffled a few feathers here way previous to his Mustang posts.

But I could care less... a lot of people here say things that occasionally offend me... as do some of my friends in real life.

Water off a ducks back.

FWIW I like the new Mustang... would like to get a Boss... but wife says no go on the paint job, however it will take a few years to save for new fun car... and need ot fix the 944 before that.

I'm sorry Randy, I've tried...Lord knows I've tried. I just cannot be as agenda free as everybody else here.

Paul, thank you for quoting the Parfessor there. That is the new frontrunner for most ironic post ever.

Seriously, up until recently horsepower and mustangs were distant cousins.
They're making big ponies now but back in the day, LOL.

The first year they came out they offered a 260 ci 164 horsepower V-8, a 289 ci 210 horsepower V-8, and beginning in June, a powerful 4 barrel, solid lifter, 289cid 271 horsepower V-8 engine.

Even the "infamous" shelby cobra GT350's only had 306 hp.

The 1967 GT500KR "King of the Road" (lol) had 335 hp from the 428ci COBRA JET ENGINE, and that was before the insurance company under-rating thing.

This was around the time that chebby was offering some 427 engines rated at 435 hp and certain 454's were rated at 450 hp.

Now before anyone starts saying that furd under-rated their engines, the chebby LS-6 from chebby was closer to 500 hp, not the rated 450.

I agree with that...that's why my Bullitt selection. Other than the Faux fuel cap, (placed on all Mustangs & requiring quite a bit to remove) it carries no external markings...a tribute to the movie car.

When I bought, the Salesman tried to steer me into a GT they had in stock. Stripes, rear spoiler, fog lights.

I told him: "You don't understand. If you can't find a Bullitt for me, I'm not going to buy a Mustang."

Hey guys, it's all about fun...try not to takes these boards, especially an OFF TOPIC board, so seriously...if ya do? Fork you!

I dont have an issue with Paul and his Stang's. Dont like it?, Dont look at his threads/ posts. That goes with any person/ subject. Plain and simple.

Seesh, some of you guys need to change your tampons....

well, you could just check the facts on some of them

re the 'stang threads - I have no problem with it.

my point - and that of others is that the frequency of the forking is too high -- diet time

I also note that Paul sometimes helps people out with their early 911 issues, even tho he no longer owns one.

scottmandue 10-27-2010 11:46 AM

Frankly... I find it more annoying that some people want to trot out the zealous political agenda on OT when a separate form was created to keep that BS out of here.

I have no problem with Paul and his Mustangs and billiards. No different than other Pelicans who post pictures of cats, car parts, BMX bikes, things they've cooked, etc.

Except for that one guy who always has to post a picture of some bass he just bought, really starting to get on my nerves...

YouTube - Cayman Interseries: Fast practice at Atlanta
Not bad for a 1966 Mustang with a solid axle on leaf springs and a small block .
