Things people say on Faceplant
I did not write this but I am gong to share it. - Look up for the mother ship, its coming.
Yes there are a host of other planetary objects out there that are bigger and smaller then pluto that we have yet to map. But to give you a hint of how pissed people are about this Illinios has past a bill saying that in that state pluto wi...ll still be a planet and will always be a planet. People actually protested this demotion! In my personal opinion yes pluto is a planet and we are still finding more planets in our solar system every day. We have also found hundreds of other planets in orbit around distant stars outside our galaxy so who are we to actually declare pluto to not be a planet! |

Pluto IS a planet! However the ruler of the universe decided that because we built our refueling station there we should alter your brain waves to make humankind believe it is not a planet to discourage earthling from visiting. It is for your own good. Carry on, PS, You didn't hear this from me. PSS, Illinios is in Big trouble!

I think Pluto is supposed to be a planetoid now not a planet. I understand, I don't want to take it off of the planet roster either, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to refuse to accept facts. Morons! Yes, there are lots of other planetoids in the solar system. There are over 200,000 minor planets.

Except it, lads. Pluto is toast. Well, not toast but a TNO. One of many. I guess the youth of today can't possibly memorize all of the new names so it was easier to re-classify. Thinking about it, I don't think I could memorize them either.

I took an astronomy class just after they reclassified Pluto. Professor was kind of "out there" but his theory was that Pluto reclassified because it was discovered by an amateur. Some sort of conspiracy by the professional astronomers for some reason or other. I can't recall all the details but definitely some food for thought....
