Turns out the issue may have had more to do with the drinks.
We were down at the neighbors helping them set up for tonights party. John had the frozen drink machine fired up all ready. He must have had grain in it since I did not detect even the slightest hint of alcohol but holy crap. The wife only had 2 drinks and she was toasted as well.
