Anyone here have an LG optimus android phone?

Wife thinks she has to go to unlimited web to get email.

I have no web on my phone (Nokia) and can send/receive email fine.

She is cute as a bug and very sweet but not very tech savey.

Did I mention I think I have created a monster by getting her an android?

We are on T-Mobil.

Ugh... this was supposed to save us money.

The question isn't the phone, it's the carrier. Who is the service provider, att, verizon, sprint, t-mobile? On t-mobile, I didn't need an unlimited plan, but I did need a data plan for smart phones. There are probably at least two plans that she could choose. I doubt she would need the unlimited.

I guess I didn't read closely enough. T-mobile has two data plans as far as I know, a $15 plan and a $25 unlimited plan. You will have to have one if those plans to us the phone.

OK limited data is $10 / 200MB a month.

It has been eons since I looked at the size of an email... IIRC they are usually measured in KB's.

So she should be able to send & receive several 100 emails a month?

Right?

Check and make sure that the $10 data is Smartphone data and not regular data... They are different.
