It's almost 8 am on Sunday morning. I've been up with the kids for over 2 hours. Why aren't stores open RIGHT NOW?

I woke up hungover on Friday and stayed drunk all day. Haven't even thought about Christmas yet.

I've always been amazed that people would put themselves through that hell and actually think it's "fun". I drove by our local super mall on Friday morning at about four AM on my way to the airport and was amazed to see the parking lot and mall lit up like daylight, with cars driving all around trying to snag that ONE empty space.

Ditto. I'm reevaluating several of my Facebook friends after reading their posts about putting themselves through this. I thought I didn't know anyone like that.

I can't do the getting up early, standing in line with thousands of people thing. I made two purchases on Black Friday. One was an online order to TGW (15% off and free shipping with no sales tax). The other was a Guitar Center. I arrived 30 minutes before closing and was in and out in 10 minutes with browsing. I picked up the Roland Micro Cube I've been eying (15% off).

Steve, I love Cole Haan shoes but there's no way I could have done what you did. Next year I can give you my list and you can pick up a few pairs for me.
