computer monitor help please

I have a samsung 730B monitor that all of a sudden went yellow on me. I hit the auto adjust and fooled with some of the settings with no change. I turned it off and on etc... I do not think I bumped any of the switches. We've had this for 3-4 yrs and it has been good.

Any help with this from someone who knows more than I would be appreciated.

Reg

Check the cable connection. Are any of the cables to and from the monitor kinked? See if moving any of the cables changes the color. I have seen failing cables do that.

Send a message via AIM to Gogar
Unplug the cable and see if there is a "self test" or autoadjust or something. See if you get all colors with nothing plugged in.

Sounds like a bad cable, Replace the cable if that is an option...

Thanks for those tips. I never checked the cable. It happened when I nudged it so I bet it's just loose. Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

Unless you need an excuse to buy a bigger monitor... Just sayin.
