Virtual pop star
Apparently this is a big thing in Japan. This holographic pop star named Hatsune Miku, technically termed a Vocaloid, developped by Yamaha, is a hit in Japan. I suppose there might be a market for it, but I wouldn't be going any concert of this kind. Interesting though.

from a concert point of view, Gorillaz is kinda same concept...except the band members are actually voiced by real people. Miku-chan is synthesized voice that's completely computer generated.

One hit wonder, prolly end up doing porn and in rehab...

Do the "Vocaloids" end up in rehab, too?

Well, it's not as weird as the sex dolls.
