You guys are a bunch of babies. :D In May I drove from Manassas, VA to Lexington, Ohio (Mid Ohio) and back ~450 miles one way. My well set up 944 had a "aggressive" rear alignment because the guy I bought it from had some 9" wheels in the back. I never had it realigned. I drove the car to and from the track (as I always do) on this ancient set of tires. I did notice that they were getting a tad bald when I mounted back on the car for the ride home. This is how they came off.:eek: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1291494761.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1291494805.jpg |

the point is that one should take prudent measures to reduce risk he does not want to be doing handsprings to get away from the car as it rolls over & over and... he will not be driving a well set up 994 |

Those are great looking tires compared to what I drove on: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1291513951.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1291513971.jpg OK. Not really. I flat spotted these coming down the hill to 10a at Road Atlanta on really cold day. |
