In May I drove from Manassas, VA to Lexington, Ohio (Mid Ohio) and back ~450 miles one way. My well set up 944 had a "aggressive" rear alignment because the guy I bought it from had some 9" wheels in the back. I never had it realigned. I drove the car to and from the track (as I always do) on this ancient set of tires.

I did notice that they were getting a tad bald when I mounted back on the car for the ride home.

the point is that one should take prudent measures to reduce risk

he does not want to be doing handsprings to get away from the car as it rolls over & over

and... he will not be driving a well set up 994

OK. Not really. I flat spotted these coming down the hill to 10a at Road Atlanta on really cold day.
