I don't think her outfits are any weirder than Lady Gaga's.
I first watched a Katy Perry video when I heard she had a BMW 1600 Bauer convertable in one. And they were driving around Santa Barbara, along PCH/101, which I drive all the time going between home and school.

I didn't know who Katy Perry was, so I had to look her up. She's cute, and yeah, in some pics she sort of looks like a young Sean Young.
I think she's even more similar to Zooey Deschanel (the girl from Hitchhikers Guide...)

Eh. My wife turned it on and I could only stand five minutes. Between the really bad music, the stupid radio voiceovers, the excessive silicone, the effiminate designers talking WAY too much, and some model crying about getting her wings, I couldn't stand it. It ceases to be a fantasy for me when the designers are on screen or I'm listening to radio traffic about who is up next.
Good music, no talking, and real, natural babes. Nothing more, nothing less, then I'd watch it.
