If I think I need something bigger than the .380 mouse gun for a particular occasion, I will simply carry my full size Glock.

I concur, this policy has worked for me.

I'm in Denver this week and it's pretty chilly. So I brought my SIG Tac jacket with the holsters sewn into each inner breast pocket. I'm carrying a SIG P239, which is a single stack in 9mm, .40 or .357SIG. I have the .40 and just got the mag extensions, so I'm carrying 8+1. It's totally concealable and the most accurate gun I own. I stole it for $475 delivered with night sights. I'm starting to love it so much, that I want to buy another one because I can't stand the thought of being without one if anything ever happened to this one. If Glock made a single stack, I'd consider it. I'm still considering one of the Phoenix PD turn-ins, which go for around $349. When I find one for under $300, I'll grab it, just to have a reliable, disposable gun.
