you are right. I forgot about those.

Large journal cast cranks 350 and later unless hi perf then forged.

I could be wrong tho. I've never owned a block older than 70. I only like the big displacement. I've only owned 350s and 400s my life.

In my post, I trierd to correct you, then said "Or did you mean chronoligically, after the introduction of the 350, SBC's had small journal cranks?" I meant large and edited my earlier post. Not trying to pick nits, but so often the info presented here is correct or quickly corrected.

Now, can you name all the air cooled Porsche flat-six displacements (in Liters) from 1967 to 1989??

pwd72s 12-10-2010 12:04 PM

2.o, 2.2, 2.4, and 2.7....After that, it doesn't matter, because the last great street 911 was made during the 1973 model year. ;)

kaisen 12-10-2010 12:08 PM

2.0, 2.2, 2.4, 2.7, 3.0, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4..... isn't that it through 1989?

2010. I have a 305 hp RS, use it as a daily driver. Gets average of 23 mpg, very comfortable, and has excellant bluetooth connectivety. Only dissapointement? Could use AWD (why not, Porsche does it), and why is there no navigation system available. WTF?
