It's good in a SNES Mario world soundtrack sorta way!
 While it can be assumed that those guys have musical talent (ie - they can play real musical instruments), I prefer artists playing real instruments. Synthesized music can only go so far before it become a bit, shall we sal, flat? (pun intended).

That's great. ...as in a great example of the horrible ergonomics that people will endure just to be using contemporary electronics. I mean, holding the pad cantilevered out, or rocking on the stand, like a boat... The exception; the sax. ...and every one of them had to watch where they pressed, constantly. maybe they should have made the whole production one guy, pressing one button (play)

Creativity knows no bounds - and often technologies are used in ways not originally designed for or imagined. At a gig on Sunday the keyboard player had an iPad. Was running iRealBook (I run it on my phone) and had done all the xmas song charts quick and easy in the app. And could of course transpose keys on the fly. Plus it now has a player feature so you can practice or even perform with that as backing tracks. |
