Easy Rider Bike? Well, then I have some ocean-front property in MO. for sale.
Unless Peter Fonda lied in his own biography - "Don't Tell Dad" - 1998 According to him ( page 278 ) all the bikes used in the Easy Rider film were stolen before the movie was even released. He assumes since the thief(s) had no idea about the film (and thus their real value) , they were probably dismantled/stripped and sold for parts.

BTW - I also have for sale the axe that George Washington used to cut down the famous cherry tree.
*Disclaimer- I did have to replace the handle twice and the head once - but it's his - I swear to God!

there are at least three supposed captain america bikes. if they salvaged one hand grip from the original, they build a new bike around it. then there are people even less scrupulous than that. on an given weekend there are 20 parked between melrose and the rock store.

The originals are long gone. This is the Harley museums "replica". You can see just a hint of orange from their Billy Bike behind it.

It's common knowledge in the motorcycling world that neither of the two "Captain America" bikes survived the filming of the movie before they were stolen. It's also common knowledge that the actors barely survived either, along with the entire film crew. It was a non-stop, drunken, drug fueled party that lasted through the entire filming of the movie. No one even thought they would ever get their shyte together enough to finish it and release it. Now we find Peter Fonda, some 40 years later, not having done one single goddamn worthwhile thing since, still trying to cash in. Pathetic.

come on................peter fonda brought to the screen the lovely road trip of arizona. from the colorady river scene, to outside kingman(aubrey cliffs) to along williams az. up north of flagstaff by the cindercones(extinct volcanos), plus the beautiful new messikan state area below los alamos labs(the commune). and quite a few other places across the u.s. of a.
and he brought us the "cap'n america" goof azz helmet that STILL CAN BE SEEN BEING WORN by diehards across the u.s. of a. GACK! scareY! what more can you ask for?????
