I'm also too lazy to want to take down & reassemble all my stereo stuff...;)

I was in the same position a few years back. Large entertainment center w/ ton's of stereo, etc. and my old faithful 27" died. I took the ent. ctr.'s TV doors off and mounted them flat, thus making a "shelf" in front of the "hole" and that's where my LCD 40" sits. It's a perfect fit for the entertainment center/my room and I didn't have to change anything around. Just an idea for ya...

Good thinking...but think I'll just stick with a smaller screen...the doors on my entertainment center are flexible, pull closed by following a curved groove...looks pretty cool when TV is covered up.
