OUCH! a crab gave me a "reach around"!
i am boiling a bunch of crabs to freeze and drive to texas. the logistics of getting live ones home was much to daunting. eff it..my family can deal.
i steam them. i keep them out of the water with a steamer basket..so i can only cook two at a time. this behemoth got me. i squirmed free before he could take a real chunk out of me. who can blame him. his first two friends didnt go quietly either. i didnt know a crab can reach under himself and grab nice tender non-working fingers. he's next.
