Okay, the second photo is obviously Photoshopped... the shadow of the sign was forgotten by the "Photoshopper" and is still visible on the surface of the road... what is the point here?

One observation about the first photo; it would make much more sense to have the sign at least 50-75 yards further from the bridge to give truck drivers more time to react/stop/change routes.

It is amazing. Sometimes those steel truss bridges peal the top of the box truck trailer like a sardine can and other times it causes the truck to jamb in there tight.

There was a similar sign in the next town south of here. It was the 3rd or 4th warning. The other posted signs gave an alternate route and everything. Some people just have to see for themselves.

I was following a huge semi-sized dump truck on the Interstate a few years ago (okay 12 years ago) when his dump box just started to raise.... at 75mph. I saw it happening and hit my brakes. Sure enough, about 300 yards further his dump box caught a train bridge.... at 75mph. One of the loudest things I've heard. I can't remember now exactly what happened to the truck, but the box was wedged between the road and the I-beam of the train bridge. No one hit the truck or box. The only vehicle involved was the dump truck, thank God. Could have been worse.

Still a few things left. And no one's said anything about the naked chicks I added in the church windows.

I don't know of any ewes that communicate their comprehension of the images.
You must know some really smart sheep!

Telephone pole to the right of the big tree is missing.
Tree to the left of the church roof (with the naked chicks) has been trimed.

Talk about timely.......

Overnight a semihauling scrap steel hit a train bridge a couple miles away from me. No real damage but traffic was re-routed for a couple of hours. The news is reporting that the driver didn't realize he hit anything until a witness stopped him.
