Canadian members I need .ca email address
I'd like to subscribe to Toronto based site but they don't recognize any sort of UK based nor G-mail addresses,

Yahoo has a ca service....did a google and it came up. Yahoo! Canada

You are trying to register with a webmail address. The administrator has disallowed registration with these types of email addresses. Registration will not be approved if you register with an aol, gmail, hotmail or other webmail address. You need a fixed email address like @sympatico.ca, @rogers.com, @shaw.ca..., or your work or school email address. You can select to keep your address hidden so your privacy will be protected. Try registering again with a fixed email address.
what does this mean please, I can't use Gmail I understand that, but neither an AOL nor Yahoo address work either, its become a personal crusade now to not only join (which I achieved with spamblock) thanks mate, but receive alerts from the odd thread on there I'm following what to do boffins? |

Most likely the site isn't worth your time. I had a sympatico service, told those tossers to go fuchs themselves.
sympatico, shaw, rogers are all the big name (as in rip off) internet providers, so that site is a members only "get them hooked" type of site. My high speed provider (faster/better little outfit) doesn't have email, I have gmail so I guess I couldn't go there too, even though I only live an hour away from Toronto.

You might well be right,
I've joined lots of places without having to do this work, the sites owner seems unhelpful & in fact I had to join facebook just to get an answer off him as admin of his own site! Like I say its become a matter of pride to make it work now and all I need is alerts off some threads running guess it means a visit daily instead |
