Tempur-pedic Swedish Bed
I deal came across where I can buy a Grand Bed. Has anyone ever owned, or slept, or ^$%&& on one of these beds?

Hated mine. People either love or hate them. If you toss and turn a lot in your sleep, then you might not like it. They are very sensitive to temperature. Once mine would warm up, I'd sink into it, and it felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. I woke up with a sore back everyday.

I love mine. It takes a month to get used to it. I've never slept better and I wake up rested.

We have had one for 5 years. Kind of / sort of like it. The stuff is really "memory foam" and it will take a set. You really need to turn it every 2 weeks or so.

My wife loves it, as do her parents. I'm not ecstatic, and have slept on my in-laws mattress. It's pretty good, but I don't sleep any better than I do on a normal mattress.
As for %^&*ing, make sure the mattress is protected. The material stains easily, I understand, and bodily fluids are essentially impossible to remove. Or so I'm told. I didn't inspect the mattress, as it were... Dan

Get a kevelar sheet for the mattress. It protects from fluids, body oils and such and it's washable

Too big to fail

I haven't slept on one myself, but a friend of mine has, and he told me it's difficult to do the wild thing without sinking in.
When I get the cash ahead, I'm going with a Sleep Number - I love those!

I don't like memory foam. It is too soft, squishy, hot. I like my "sleep number" lots more - dial to firm when I want, to soft when I want. If you want the memory foam feel, maybe try a memory foam topper first, to avoid an expensive mistake.

What the ?

Have had one for years... love it!! Has a mattress cover that gets washed regularly, no sore back in the morning, when its cold it is stiff but body temp warms it quick. Don't care for the "orthopedic" pillows though, i would get the regular shaped ones made of the same foam. You are good to go when it comes to doing "it".
But I have been married for 20 years so those moments are few and far between. ![]()

They take a few nights to get used to it.
We really like ours, I can't stay awake lying in it, for more than 10 Mins.
