Wow. 82 bids up to $230K. I didn't realize the Galaxy had such a fanbase.

At the same time, it seems a shame to have the financial ability to buy a brand new no-expense-spared 911 Turbo, but then drive it with an automatic transmission.

3 pedal cars are going the way of the dodo. The new Ferrari's aren't available with a traditional manual, even as an option. There is no benefit at all anymore, other than making a small minority of us feel better about our driving skills. Us old farts clinging to our clutch pedals will soon need to stick to vintage cars. I'm sure those who preferred cranking the car to life with a metal crank in the grill over an ignition key felt the same. |

If someone would just make a car with all the mechanical improvements of the past couple of decades and without the electronic nose wipers and bluetuth cup holders I'd be in line.

I like matte black, but that's just fugly looking.
I wonder if it's really a vinyl wrap, as the door jambs, etc. are not matte black. |

Driving a stick doesn't have anything to do with "driving skills." Anyone can learn it and do it well. The reason for it is is is more fun and makes driving more enjoyable, at least for a lot of people (I'd disagree it's a small minority of "us," at least if you are talking about Pelicans. I'd say most of "us" drive manual transmission Porsches, and wouldn't have it any other way). |

I can understand someone who does most of their driving in, say LA, preferring a slush box...but, then again, why even buy a sporty car if you're gonna drive it 99% of the time in stop & go traffic? I hate driving to and around LA in my SC; it ain't fun for me at all.
