Pop up in Word...how to kill it?

I moved Word over from my external hard drive. It a licensed copy but keeps coming up with an End User Agreement that I have to click on after opening a new or existing file.....

How do I kill it?

Nope, it killed the "are you sure pop up" which is irritating..... but not the end user for Windows 2003. Now I have a MS security alert icon on my task bar.

MS Vista sucks.....

I like the artillary idea but your issue could be with permissions. Not sure if you are launching the application from a shortcut, but try this. Browse to the Microsoft Office directory and find the executable for your version of Word (word.exe). Right click on it and select 'Run as Administrator'. Word should open and you will have to accept the EULA and close the box (as an administrator). Then try opening the application again from the shortcut and it should work without the EULA challange.

If not as administrator, log in as whichever account was used to originally install the application that was copied over to the new pc.

I'm doing this from memory and have been drinking all day watching football, but I had a similar issue a while back.

I restored the permissions, alert went away and so did the Word pop ups. All is good.

No Mac in my future.
