Good hot glue gun?

I use a hot glue gun to glue the flaps on cardboard boxes when I ship things. My latest Made-In-China POS "Surebonder" brand gun has finally bit the dust, as I'm not going to fix it yet another time. So, I need to buy another one. Anybody have one they like that has lasted a while?

The one I had was rated at 60 watts, which is not enough. Once it got to temperature, it would run about a half a (long) stick through the gun before I'd have to stop and let it melt the glue again. This is not eneough output to glue a box. I use the long 7/16" sticks and it takes 1-2 per each box. The thing also dripped glue endlessly when not in use and kept coming apart internally, so the glue also came out of every seam. It failed the first time after about an hour of actual use.

I don't want to spend a fortune on one but I'd like the next one I buy to be the last.

Thanks,
JR

I have the hot glue gun that we bought for my Grandfather in the mid 1960s. It is made in USA, from some shoe company. It still works great, but I don't use it very often.

Yeah, there's no shortage of choices. I'm just looking for a recommendation from someone that has used a specific one for a while, so I don't end up with another POS.
