I'm staying at the La Quinta, in Mon pm, out Thu afternoon. Am busy during the days at Ft. Lewis but should have some free time in the evenings.

I gather that this visit has to do with your day job rather than with music. Perhaps one evening you would enjoy a home cooked meal, depending on how many responses you get. i will check out the possibility with Mrs. Mossguy.
Tom Edit/Add: We live just off I-5 between Ft. Lewis and La Quinta. I assume you mean La Quinta Tacoma.

Does anyone want to try and meet up for food and/or a drink Wed night? I'm in Lakewood, would prefer some place not too crazy far away.

The Ram in Lakewood is a possibility, also halfway between Ft. Lewis and your hotel. Also several places on the water in Tacoma, close to your hotel.: Katie Downs, Lobster Shop, Harbor Lights, C.J Shenanigans, Duke's Chowder House, and another Ram.

The Ram works for me - close to where I am. Who's in? I should be free after 5. I assume traffic blows heading south from Seattle so later may be better?

There is a small group of us up in Seattle mulling it over.
Get off work and gather up for the drive down by 5:30-6ish, then traffic and everything else, maybe aim for 7:30-8ish? Would that work for everyone else?

i thought it was tonight? there are five of us in seattle who are considering making this drive down tonight. can someone confirm?
also, i just realized the puyallup ram isn't really much closer from seattle, so i guess the lakewood ram is the current best 'ram' choice.

Peter, this is the better choice. Right by the South Hill Mall and the 512 fwy which direct connects to Lakewood pretty much.
103 35th Avenue SE Puyallup, WA 98374 Tel: 253-841-3317 I can't make it tonight either. The Harmon in downtown Tacoma has better beer!! http://harmonbrewingco.com/ I did score 15 out of 15 on the Beer test.

I'm here now - not next week. I fly out tomorrow afternoon. Just let me know which is better for whoever is showing up.
Joe, will be in LA this weekend. Will check that thread. I have rehearsal Sat, gigs Sun and Mon nights. |
