Channeling my inner Tim Hancock
It was a rainy Sunday so decided to build an ammo holder for when I was at the range. Was unsatisfied with the plastic holders from Academy so decided to build my own. It's not perfect, but for a bolt action rifle it's fine with me.

Kind of looks like my aviation spark plug holder "tool" I made from a block of scrap wood.
![]() I simply use a small mesh sack to collect my spent brass at the IDPA ranges then sort through them when I get home putting all my "marked" brass in plastic grape juice jugs to await tumbling/reloading. After reloading, I put all my rounds into old styrofoam WWB trays to inspect primers and then mark across them with a black Sharpie before dumping them into either 150 round tupperware boxes (practice rounds) or the 100 round store bought plastic ammo tray/boxes for matches. By marking my brass then sorting when I get home, I feel much more confidant when reloading at high speed with my progressive press as I know there will be no odd cases or military crimped primer cases in the mix. The sorting is actually kind of fun when getting home from a match.

Nice loading block! I have a few home-made ones that I picked up at gun shows and they are better than the store bought versions any day! I'll be loading .308 Winchester this coming weekend for my brother-in-law.
