Biathlon spoons
I have a lady friend who's getting into biathlon. She knows nothing about guns.
Where's a good place to find one ? Used one ? I assume you can spend stupid money. Where's a good place to start ? Thanks in advance

Just getting started she won't be needing specialized biathalon rifle yet... get a decent 22, equip it with either a decent scope or proper sights, and spend several hundred on good ammo for lots of practice. I'd go for a Savage Mk II FVT (heavy barrel, target sights, cheap plastic stock) and then put a TR style stock on it via Boyds (they are the OEM for savage). Another choice would be one of the CZ rimfires.
