Towing with a W124. . . I think it's awesome.

I called MBNA and told them I wanted to tow with a new wagon, they freaked out and directed me to the M-Class. I told them if I wanted to buy a truck it was going to be a G-Wagen or something like a Pinzgauer. . . and that I knew they sold trailer hitches in Europe where the laws of physics are (mostly) the same. Naturally they were completely incapable of being constructive.

A local guy used an older Benz wagon to drag hs cars around, a 910, one of the Toad Tall 911s, a Fab-Car 944 Turbo..... So they work..

Here is where I'm going with the wagon; mine is white and when I replace the bumper strips, I'll paint all lower body cladding white as well. It's a little cleaner though I like the white/grey-beige 2-tone.. I did find a very rare AMG body kit for W124 wagons at a fair price, but those $ are better spent on the 73. As it is, I've gone a little crazy on the wagon since getting it a month ago.
