Can this tree be saved?
![]() It's losing leaves real fast and there aren't many green ones left on it. I have no idea what has caused this. Can I save it and if so, how?

an arborist is your best bet, but...
any digging nearby in the last few years? unusual weather patterns? watering the lawn lightly w/o deep watering for the tree? any neighbors used chemicals recently? |

its called FROST DAMAGE.........................cut anything obviously dead off of it, water a lil til it warms up and then water the hell out of it and it "should" take off again.
we suffered from major "plant-a-geddon" with these cold temps. 15F in dez mtn , 21F at aeropuerto. i am not an arborist/landscraper/botany major of any kind and can nor will be held responsible for any or all of homeowners actions with saws/knives/machetes/chainsaws/etc.

Do not do anything with it for another month or so. It has like Chuck said, frost damage.
Take your fingernail and scrape the bark on a couple of limbs, both big and small. If its dry and brown underneath then that part is dead, but you should find nice green material underneath on the larger bits.
