I am sure spraying skin cells is a little different than paint.

I would have given both of my nuts for that yrs ago..
both of my arms & hands looked like that..
my chest was even worse..
the Dr did tell me ..
your a guy..you don't need nipples..
that pic brings back some real bad memories..
in my day ..pig & shark skin was the frontier..

there are folks suffering..
if this had been around but not available for 'reasons' in my day..
after checking out I would have found you..
and given your family a reason to cry..
spent over a yr in various burnwards..
in the early weeks..
I often thought about checking out..

No place in the world like a hospital burn unit. The suffering is overwhelming. I'm glad you hung in there. Some can't.

It would be wonderful if technology like this eliminates some of the suffering.

This is not embryonic stem cells, which have been controversial.

This is done with ADULT stem cells; can even use his own cells from his bone marrow.

I am sick and tired of this liberal myth.
The politicians DID NOT hold back research. It was not hindered.

Any company that wants to do stem cell research can do stem cell research.
You can do all the research you want. Same with me. Anyone can do research, no one is holding anyone back.

The only restriction is they have to do it with their dime, no taxpayer dollars are to be spent on gubmint funded research using fetuses.

Get it right.

My best friend in Germany was burned horribly in a grill explosion in a tiny village in Hungary, back when it was still a pretty backward country. I happened to arrive in Germany soon after he was brought to a burn clinic in Munich. Seeing him in that plastic bubble and having to talk to him over a phone was gut wrenching. I stayed for a few weeks and he was then able to come out and walk. The next summer I went back and he was wearing a compression shirt and looked like he had chewed bubble gum stuck all over his upper body and lower arms. He's still horribly scarred, but leads a totally normal life and is engaged. It was a life-changing experience for all who were around him then.

Rika I'm very sorry for you but so glad you pulled through and are still here.

About 25 years ago my brother suffered over 50% 3rd degree burns. He barely lived. He's still retarded. But that SOB pulled through things I know I could have never gone through. The family and I spent a year on a burn ward (Bethesda Naval) with him. Others had it worse- I felt so sorry for the black guys- their skin grows back pink and it's really disfiguring.

But he's stiil my sh%theaded little brother and I love him to death.

30 years ago I was burned from the waist up in a gasoline fire. Lucky for me had a friend there and he took care of the car and I rolled in the grass putting it out fairly quickly. It was mostly first with some second degree burns.

Really glad to see something like this. Like Rikao, the video brings back some memories I would rather not revisit...
