For my fellow headbangers
Found this killer updated Dokken song tonight.
It's obviously not George Lynch but Reb kicks some a$$!! Yep, the guitarist from Winger. Pelican content, you ask? The bass player is Hugh R.'s neighbor.

I love Reb Beach's playing! He was great with his short stint in Dokken, Erase the Slate is their best album from the 90's.
I saw Scorpions last year twice in one week actually but the first time was in Ok at Rock N America and Michael Schenker came out and played with them. Herman Rarebell also came out and played a song while Kottak and Carmine Appice played cowbell. Some Vicious Rumors live just found this band and they are badass!

Wasn't Shenker part of the scorps in the beginning? I know Dolf is part, but I thought Michael was there too.

I saw Michael Schenker and Carmine Appice at NAMM a few weeks ago. Saw George Lynch there last year. I saw the Scorpions with Van Halen at the Monsters of Rock in 1988. Still haven't seen M. Schenker play live yet. Must see. I ran into Reb Beach at a music store in Pittsburgh in college. I didn't recognize him, but my buddy was star struck.

I was at the Monsters concert in 88.
I have seen Shenker live twice (in the past few years) with UFO. I am surprised that I have not seen him mentioned more in the guitarist threads that are running rampant on Pelican right now...Or Vinny Moore, Tony MacAlpine or Chris Impelliteri for that matter (sorry, carrying this further off topic)

I wasn't even born yet in 88... although I wish I had been. Saw George Lynch a few months ago he was killer, got a set list
![]() It's funny you mention those three guitarists. Vinnie Moore played with that band Vicious Rumors for their first album. I love Tony MacAlpine and posted him in the guitarist thread. Maximum security is amazing but my favorite is his album with Sarzo, Aldridge and Rob Rock. Rob Rock coincidentally is singing for Impelliteri on his newest album Wicked Maiden which also kicks ass and I just got a copy of Pedal to the Metal and was kind of let down by the singer. Uli is good but I prefer coast to coast for Scorps Instrumentals and it's got MS
