Wow, that was disturbing to watch. Hope she's OK.

Looks like it might've been showing up in her facial muscles too?

I watched the clip on Fox's web site. In that video, you could hear people in the background laughing at her. It was awful. I hope she recovers.

People who laughed at her don't realize that one day they are going to have to laugh at themselves.

Yeah its as if a switch was flipped and everything got garbled. At the end she realized that what was coming out was garbled...U could see the fear...

Sounded like a stroke, with the characteristic head movements...

TIA will become a stroke sooner or later, or is it something one can prevent ?

Blood thinners (coumadin) and other treatments can be used, if necessary.

If you don't have any Coumadin handy wolf down some real black licrorice. As wierd as it sounds, that stuff is loaded with blood thinners. My old man had stopped his Coumadin a few weeks before his ICD was put in but eat a bunch of black licrorice our lil one sent hime - his Coumadin levels were still very high. Come to find out it was the licorice!

Lubey,
We had real licorice during Desert Storm and we were warned not to eat very much of it because of it's anti-coagulant properties. The licorice we ate came from Turkey, I believe. I don't think real licorice is commonly available here in the US.

Black plants are readily available in San Pedro/Palos Vedres, CA. I see it when I go for trail walks along the creek. I was not aware of the properties though and since I had a stroke 8 years ago I should probably start eating the plant again seeing as I was to young for Plavix. Thanks for the tip.
