Collective wisdom / experience needed...

I need some OEM gear (wheels, etc) for a 1989 BMW 635. Pelican Parts is my first port of call, but some of this stuff seems to be dealer only.
The stuff I need is still available, but BMW Australia wants my first born. I'm looking for a reliable US BMW dealer.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I would think you could get wheels from aftermarket sources, auto dismantler type thing

For example, these guys are local to me

BMW Parts used and rebuilt bmw auto parts

This is the place I went to when I was a kid and got my 2002. He has a BMW junkyard on his lot.

I have some perfect BBS Moda wheels for a 635, and they take 225/50 wheels which are much nicer than stock size. Those cars run really well on Bilstien/Eibach suspension.

I just sold a set of taillights for 40.00. Gave away two sets of original wheels. Have a bra and I don't know what else that you can have. I will give you a heck of a deal on the wheels, and they look super nice on a 633, nicer than BBS or stock IMO.

Metric Mechanics used to make the best engines and gearboxes, etc. I loved my 633 with schrick cams and euro tranny and final drive. I kept the wheels, but I know now I will never use them. PM me if you have any desire for clean five spoke wheels.
