One I don't own yet, and might not for a few years. I'm starting to collect all of the necessary accessories.

I'll give you a hint...the link says that the scope is OK for it...

I'd like to get one of those too, but unfortunately theres no place to shoot something that big around here. Plus our previous POS Governor banned the sale here in NJ.

Wow. I would love to have a Barrett single shot bolt action. If you buy a rig I would love to come down and try shooting it, if you would have me of course .

Eight Bills ain't notin for a rifle scope...The new Leupold CQB SS is out at $4000. Schmidt & Bender, Zeiss and Swaroski are all better than 2K...

Actually with the improvements in the Optics it is better to wait to buy it until needed. Buy the rifle first rather than the accouterments..

Tabs, normally I'd agree with you, but this is a special case. It's my understanding that these scopes were made by Tasco, they are military surplus, and when they run out, the price will be more like $1400. And riflescopes that can withstand .50 BMG recoil are rare and expensive.

Oh, and Rich, you are more than welcome to come down to shoot.

This is what I'm thinking about getting:

Isn't that an Armalite AR50
Good weapons. EASY recoil. I wish I could say that about mine. its horrible.
Mine is match grade which makes it expensive to shoot. If I could have a do over,
I would get field grade. They are alot cheaper to shoot. My local Duhnams sporting goods has an AR50 in stock but it's over priced. Do some shopping before you make a purchase.
