Any issues with the stem cell use? Will there be political hurdles? This technique is wonderful. Beyond medical (urgent) I can see cosmetic uses.

Nothing wrong in using yer own parts. It's when you start using other peoples it gets a little iffy.
Fetal stem cells are a bit more viable and versatile. That's why they are keeping afterbirth products for the infant in cold storage. Kind of an insurance policy, though still not wide spread.
