Hey now, I'll be 66 at the end of summer. EC has had a pretty good journey so far. I don't like everything he's ever done but he has put out some great music.

Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker and EC were nuts. They raised the bar.

I've seen him more times than I care to remember. On his current tour he is doing a version of "Badge" that is worth the price of admission, along with the acoustic version of "Layla" with an electric. Also worth the price of admission.

At Crossroads this year, he had said it was going to be the last one, he actually talked to the audience. (Aside from saying, "Thank you!" at the end of each song he did). Near the end he said, paraphrasing, "Okay, I said this was the last one. This is too much fun, I'll do it again." I really hope so, best concert I've ever been to. And I'd never been to Chicago aside from the airports, loved that, too.
