What moves you to purchase an unknown brand of vodka?

Hi everyone, I am conducting a small research for a paper I need to write and was hoping to gather some information on what moves consumers to buy a new brand of vodka. If you could participate in my poll, it would help me tremendously with my research. I realize that this would be a poll of well off segment of the market (we wouldn't be Porsche or BMW owners otherwise), but I'd like to gather as much info as possible about all groups. With that said, here is the question:

What moves you to purchase an unknown brand of vodka?

1. Price

2. Bottle design and perceived quality it carries

3. Country of origin

4. Number of times a product was distilled

5. Product base (grain, potato, grapes, etc.)

6. I would not buy an unknown vodka because I know what I like and I stick with it.

7. I do not care for any of the above attributes, as I mix my drinks and can't feel the difference in vodkas anyways.

Thanks,
Sergei

For me it's sort of like a Flowchart.

1. Price is the most important because it IMMEDIATELY lets me know what zone the product is 'shooting for' or whatever. If let's say there's 3 ranges of price, <$20, $20-40, and over $40 for a .750mL.

After I center on that medium level, I'd then find out if it was Potato or Grain, and then boobs.

This assumes that there's no $20-40 bottles made from plastic, and there's no vodka in Brown bottles.

I don't really think I know anything about Vodka, though, so I'm painting with a big brush. Whichever vodka will get me more boobs is what I'm shooting for.

I run my cheap vodka through a Brita filter half a dozen times, and use it most for making Kahlua and white russians.

When I drank vodka, I looked for those distilled from potato and rye, those were my favorite. To me, it's all about what material was distilled...

" (we wouldn't be Porsche or BMW owners otherwise)," - suggesting all of the contributors are well heeled is improper. Owning an old 944 or BMW 3 series does not equate to any class position, nor does owning a GT2, which could be leased.

If you go for price you are obviously "trained" that higher cost = higher quality.

Quality in Vodka comes through the distillation process. The more cycles and the finishing process determine the quality.

I voted price. I have tried a few different liquors just because they were on sale.

Those boobies posted above are kind of droppy for young ones, don't you think?
