I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Mitutoyo. We've sent a couple of digital calipers back to them over the years for repairs and all was good. Not that it's relevant to your Mitutoyo, be we also sent a Starrett test indicator to Starrett a couple of weeks ago for repairs and it came back as new. The cost was around $70 IIRC, so that might give you an idea of cost for your Mitu.

There are local precision instrument shops that do that sort of thing, their bread and butter is annual calibration of all precision instruments but they also do repairs. I'd be surprised if there aren't any in your area. This is the website of a company I've used several times in the past without drama: Accurate Instrument Repair, Inc. Iffn you have to ship it out to be repaired, at least they are a known commodity.
