My son's band
I just love it. Teenagers working it out. They just picked up a vocalist and will start gigging in a couple weeks. Youthful exuberance and excitement. My son is on the white guitar:

Used to commiserate with one of my best friends about all the 'music' coming from the basement all through high school and then into college. He bought tons of earplugs and pizza's but the kids hung in there together. They got a contract and toured the world at 20 years old!

Great fun. I was my sons g.a.s. (gear acquistion symdrome) man. Also played roadie and soundman. Helped keep them from taking advantage of the easy access to all kinds of stuff you probably don't want him doing.

We had a lot of fun in the "band" years. My folks put up with us rehearsing in the basement. They always supported my drum playing. Good luck to your son's band.

My Sister's Band
My 51 year old sister took up the bass over the last year and is playing open-mic gigs near Reno Nevada. I admire her pluck! There are a few videos:
In high school I was recruited to provide vocals for some buddies that were quite talented on guitars, drums and keyboards but were afraid to sing..... garages and HS cafeteria was our only venues.
