Michael Sarrazin of "The Gumball Rally" has moved on.....

Hated to hear that Michael Sarrazin passed away. One of my favorite movies was the Gumball Rally and the combo of Sarrazin with the 427 Cobra and Raul Julia with the Ferrari was priceless!

More on his Death:
Michael Sarrazin obituary: Michael Sarrazin, Canadian actor in "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?", dies at 70 - latimes.com

This is one of many great scenes from Gumball Rally

"They Shoot Horses..." sucked.

He was great with Henry Fonda in "Never Give An Inch" which was actually more correctly titled "Sometimes A Great Notion", the excellent Ken Kesey novel about a multi-generational logging family in the PNW.

And, IMO, much better than Cuckoos Nest.

Still a good flick, eventho Paul Newman was hard for me to buy as a logger. Still, some scenes gave good views of what Oregon looked like in the 70's, before the state got thoroughly Californicated.

RIP Michael...you entertained many...

My favorite movie of his was "The Sweet Ride" with Jacquie Bisset, Tony Franciosa and Gilligan...aka Maynard G Krebs...

The scene where Jacquie comes out of the Malibu surf with no top is one to be remembered...
