Sorry, can't read you post right now... my parents are in their late 80's and I can see this day coming for my family.

Also today is my wife's mother's birthday... she would have been 90.

My condolences to you and your family. I feel your pain and your relief that they are not suffering any more. I lost my dad last december and still miss him greatly.

You wrote a heartfelt story that touched many folks on this board and honored him in a way that I am sure would have made him proud but too humble to admit it.

So from me I say, thank you for doing what you did. I wish I could convey my thoughts to words on paper as well as you did.
