Precious metal IRA

Does anyone here have any experience with one? APMEX offers them on their site.

Why not just buy an ETF? Fee and liquidity of the security scare me off with outliers.

Personally, the point of buying is protection. I would keep it out of the IRA and would go for physical.

OK good advice. So then has anyone dealt with APMEX? Seems to be positive feedback for the most part.

Pricing seems to compare to Merit Financial. Monex seems a little lower, but I don't know if there are any transaction charges on any of these.

i just bought some physical silver 100 oz. bars, i use apmex for pricing and keeping up with prices and some research. i have never purchase from them though. you can get at a local dealer if you goin to purchase. if you worrying about fraud or anything like that then go with buyin from a mint. you get certification that the product you purchase is real deal.

the best precious metal fund out there IMHO is Tocqueville Gold Fund, I am up close to 300 % since buying in, no complaints from this guy.
